What's the point of wrecking dropships when their cargo can survive the crash?

Most of the bots die.
Real pros will not shoot down tank ones because those can be problematic.
I'd rather the off issue now and then with a stuck one able to shoot at me than having 2 dozen more walkers/devastators able to shoot at me.
