This is going to be multiple. It may take a long time, months, hell over a year maybe. But like in hd1 every time we reset it means a blank slate. Next campaign, the illuminate are the ones to strike first coupled with bugs. Maybe they strike right at the heart, fighting in urban super cities from a cloaked incursion of squids hitting super earth. Maybe the rules change, planets fall and capture faster, a blitz mode of galactic conflict. There are so many ways to change the game that even if it repeats itself there's not telling how we would succeed or fail and how that may change things. Maybe we don't secure mech fabrication and have to rely on older tread or wheeled vehicles?
Considering the narrative potential, I'd love to tap some thoughts on gamechangers.
