I just did a mission. All main missions completed, 2/3 optional objectives, all extract, and 5/6 bases destroyed. 2 out of 4 stars, unremarkable performance. It’s just a buzz kill after barely extracting!
Even ignoring the number of stars earned, I liked it better when it was 5 stars max for all difficulties. I understand the fewer stars to encourage harder gameplay (and from an in game perspective), but it just feels meh. Feels a lot more reasonable to get 3/5 stars when you struggled on a mission than 1/3
