Yet half of the weapons in the game can barely compete with most enemies on one faction. It shouldn't take 25 rounds to kill a bile spewer with a DMR, shouldn't take 40 rounds to kill a brood commander with a DMR, that could also be about 60 rounds if you are using the machine pistol sidearm. Bots are alright, minus the devastators auto locking missiles that can hit you from a mile and a half away. The dev's say to use what's fun but the guns they put into the game underperform in multiple areas, especially once you get to armored units, which by the way make up the majority of helldiver missions. Explain to me why the DMR is light penetrating? Why is the only medium pen weapon a bolter and a "Mid-tier" rifle? It does not make sense to me that you would knowingly increase armored enemies' presence in higher difficulties while providing only one medium pen weapon in the base game (Not including the purchasable war bond). And I own the Dominator and its good but there should be a variety of weapons that perform vs armored enemies, and they should be weapons that make sense and actually function. Due to just not having a lot of weapons to choose from it leaves only a few that can perform, aka the Meta. I understand the idea of using what's fun, I only run what's fun for me, but it just does not work, it just doesn't. And this is after 100 hours of using what I want, not the meta. I haven't even touched the breaker either, but most of the weapons just suck. And I have tried every weapon, over and over and over again (Minus the breaker) and its very obvious that some if not most of the weapons just cannot keep up.
