Nobody is making anyone preorder the game or buy the Super Citizen edition. If you aren’t sure wait until the game comes out. The Super Citizen edition is still cheaper than base games now. I pre-order led the Super Citizen edition because I support the studio, they created a great first game and are very responsive to the community. As far as I’m concerned they earned my money already. They previous game did several add on packs separate from the game so why wouldn’t they do that again? And there are a few capes that were only available through certain events and such that are no longer available. Pay extra for cosmetics or don’t, nobody is forcing it.

We all have hopes and dreams and speculation and concerns about the game. Just be excited it’s finally happening, we won’t know till it comes out. I loved playing Hogwarts Legacy but they damn near released every detail about the game before it came out, it was to much. I miss the old days of no spoilers or betas, you got the game and had no idea what to expect and it was so much more exciting. I am excited from the little things I’ve seen. Games aren’t made for individuals, they are made for communities and not everyone is going to get one they want or like how some things are. That is every game out there, stop being so negative and just be excited.

Also there is clearly space for at least one more faction if not two so chill out, there will clearly be add-ons and DLC. Buy it or don’t, the rest of us will spread more than enough democracy, FOR SUPER EARTH!
