One thing I hear many players complain about the most is team killing, especially blatant and purposeful team killing and hunting of teammates. I understand there is an in-game reporting system, but I think most would agree that it appears to do nothing.

How about something like this: Player A TKs Player B who reports it. Within X minutes (something practical), Player A TKs B again and B reports it again. Player A should receive a warning that any further TK of any player in that game results in an IP ban for X amount of time. I think this nicely solves the issue of "accidental" TKing because it's hard to argue accidental when someone has killed the same teammate twice within a short period of time.

Another method to lessen TKing would be increasing the time-out function if someone is reported. IOW, Player A TKs Player B who reports it. Next time Player A TKs Player B, there is a 10 minute redeploy penalty; something long enough to either REALLY dissuade TKing or just get the person to leave the server.

Also, remove the "reset" feature. Too often I hear command chat confirming that X player is team killing, multiple people report them, and then some clueless blueberry who is not in on the chat kills them back and the whole thing starts all over again.

In general, however, I think that increasing the redeploy time for TKing would improve the game, accidental or not. Without being reported, having a full 1 or 2 minute redeploy time for TKing should reduce the instances of it happening, and increase people's awareness when throwing grenades, placing satchels, etc. Of course, I am partial to lessoning the punishment for the Commander, who, at times no matter how hard they try or how much they warn people, blueberries can be clueless and run right into a bombing run.
