So I got into hell let loose a few weeks ago. I've mostly been playing medic, automatic rifleman etc the "easy" roles mostly.
I played a few games today and tried out squad lead. I watched a tutorial and thought to myself "I got this" My biggest stress was trying to keep things on the rails and be organized. But there's so much.
Talking to the commander and squad, looking at the map for good spots to put down squad spawns/garrisons, all that and more.
I only won about 2 gunfights in 2 games because I was so worried about the other things happening. It was hard to keep focus. I feel you have to be good at multitasking to be successful in this role.
Besides all that I really want to try being a squad lead again, when i feel i can handle it. It's really fun with the extra responsibility. And shouts out to the community for the most part at least on NA PC is really welcoming. I said on commander Chat that I was new to this role and they were really nice about it and answered any questions I had.
