Should I try Commander?
Post Body

Hey all!

I’ve been playing for about a month now, lvl 49 (one more match for 50) and I play almost every role depending on what the team needs.

Currently the only lvl 4 role I have is Engineer but it’s mostly because I like to keep all my roles at the same lvl so if I lvl one higher than the others I tend to not play it for a few matches unless it’s vitally needed so I can lvl my other roles.

I understand the mechanics, I’ve watched a guide on every role including commander and I’ve read through the field manual a few times.

The only roles I don’t play are Tank Commander and Crewman as I just don’t enjoy the vehicular combat in this game (personal opinion of course, I know how vital they are to winning games)

I’ve also played a lot of SL, after another match it’ll be the same lvl as my Engineer. I’ve been told by my squad mates and commanders that I’m quite good at it.

But I’m a little scared to try Commander, any newish commander I’ve had has either been harassed and ridiculed or straight vote kicked while asking for helpful advice. Which to me makes no sense, how can you get good at it if people immediately want to get rid of you even if you’re trying your best?

I’m on PS5 if that changes anything

Thanks!

Give it a shot, I'd suggest trying it on an offensive match (where your team is on the offensive). Less to worry about than when youre defensive / warfare
