Here me out please: I do not think we should take down posts that are upset over perceived scammers
Post Body

Hello. In regards to the post titled "The scammers will kill this project... if it hasn't already. The plummeting rewards will finish the job"

It seems it was taken down or otherwise cant be replied to.

I understand the frustration with these kinds of posts, however when people do share this, its also an opportunity for us as a community to reassure them. Otherwise i believe they will be lost for sure. And realistically, if that is how they feel, their perception is valid regardless of the accuracy. Taking down the post only furthers their feelings of unfairness because they are being silenced. We need to take the time to respond to them in a positive way, show them they are wrong, and give them information to make a better decision.

For the network to continue to grow, we need the peoples network to be about the people also. Every person matters.

I didn't come to criticize, i came to ask for understanding and to be patient with these people. Give others a chance to respond to them. Maybe a mod or someone, (maybe i will) can put together a canned response that can be copied and pasted. Something that outlines the future of Helium and how problems like this are being addressed.

I think there are lots of solutions, but shutting down the discussion is not the best one. I do understand where the mods are coming from though. I am not criticizing. I am asking for more patience and for the community to help educate people that feel the network is being attacked.

And lets be honest, it is. The last few weeks have been fairly brutal with attacks on the network and other negative happenings. Its fine to acknowledge that. But lets counter with information and a redirection to a positive future.

I have faith in the network. But i too am fairly frustrated with the recent attacks on the network, as well as the proliferation of spoofing. Its growing pains. Lets work through it as a community that accepts everyone's input. It is a lot of work. Thats also why i offered to help mod and try to help in the community as much as i have time to. :-)

NOTE: Got banned. No rule breakage, just because the mods dont like me!
