Wifi keeps disconnecting?

I added my sensecap m1 to my home yesterday and had my connection totally drop once or twice. I read somewhere to connect it via Ethernet and I've done so. I didn't think it was the miner. Since then I have had my wifi , actually the router maybe, drop service a few times. Completely had to reset it. I'm in New York City so I'm pretty sure it's not the setup since I rarely l lose connection. Only noticed this since I set the sense miner up. Anyone else having these issues? And is it possible it's the miner? I live alone and have a 500 MB connection with maybe 6 things on it.
