Been into crypto for a while but just found out my landlord is mining Helium so naturally I started looking into it too. Seems like it’s relatively easy. I live in a smaller town with as of now 4 miners. I also checked the hexes and I’d be close but not to close. Do I need to have a miner and a hotspot or is it one in the same? Also I thought about buying an 8dbi antenna but it’s only gonna be on a 2story home. Is that to much?
Sorry if this has been asked a bunch already, just trying to get a better understanding of it.
