I got my first HK about 2 weeks ago, went to the range and wanted to cry. I kept releasing the mag. I thought maybe it was the firearm, but it’s my first with a paddle release. Figuring it was user error, which it was, I adjusted my grip to a point of it being uncomfortable. I still had one more mag drop. I got home and immediately researched some internet threads. Long story short, I trimmed the left side mag release off, and at the range today I absolutely fell in love with this pistol. It’s truly amazing. Even did some Mozambique drills on a silhouette target and impressed myself being the second time I fired the weapon. Pic is at 7 yards, there’s adjustments to be made, but I’m happy with the grouping.
