In the Netflix series we know really a little of Elle Argent: according to Tao she came out as a transexual girl and moved to Higgs, and that's all.

But is she born male? has she a dead-name? (Mr. Reed wouldn't call her Elle) Is she doing a transition or is simply not-conforming?

There's a lack of context about Elle also in the comics albums, I see that Alice Osman is doing positive representation of queer teenagers, but Elle seems to be here, just to quote Sebastian Croft's tweet, because there's no LGB without the T.
