The context is that this Nick guy who sits next to Charlie in a class is being nicer than the other students and keeps greeting Charlie but apparently Nick is friends with Harry and is acquainted with the same circle of people who bullied Charlie last year not to mention that he invited Charlie to join the rugby team despite knowing that Charlie got bullied after getting outed as gay and some of the rugby players were homophobic. Like, if I was Charlie I'd immediately think that's a big red flag and would think Nick is just playing a bad prank or something and I'd avoid him like a plague.
Or maybe I'm just too cynical but what would yall do if you were on Charlie's shoes?
P.S. after typing this, it made me realize how kinder and patient (and naive) Charlie really is, if he was like me we wouldn't have gotten our precious Nick and Charlie lmao
Edit: minor typos and added "not to mention that he invited Charlie to join the rugby team despite knowing that Charlie got bullied after getting outed as gay and some of the rugby players were homophobic"
