An electronic device for the rest of my life = irrational anxiety?
Post Body

I go to the audiologist tomorrow to receive and set up my first HAs. Iā€™m nervous. This will now be a part of my life. And with Bluetooth technology will I always feel ā€œconnectedā€ even if I donā€™t want to be? If my phone pairs with my car and my HAs pair with my phone what will that be like to send/receive a call? Then thereā€™s the physical aspect: wearing glasses/sunglasses/ballcap, potentially creating more wax which is already problematic to remove, etc. Sorry. Just doing a little unnecessary doom spiral. Iā€™m sure it will all be fine and Iā€™ll learn to work things out to suit me. I just needed to put my thoughts out into the uni-, reddit-verse.
