Hello all, without going to in depth. I’ve needed hearing aids since birth and am now 30. I started with phonak and pushed the last to about 12 years of use (way too long but not rich ya know?). I’m now using a Starkey circa hearing aid and it cost around $7k, has had batteries replaced 2 times in 3 years and I’m now getting roughly 2 hours out of the per charge. This is unacceptable especially with my job requiring hearing. I’m still paying the loan off but I need a new pair, I can’t keep paying around $800 for batteries once a year and I can’t keep managing this issue. I’m normally a very laid back, go with the flow, happy go lucky guy but this is honestly hitting me hard because it’s really made me realize how much reliance I have and I can’t rely on them.
Anyways I refuse to get Starkey, I need a good prescription brand as soon as I can get for a reasonable price because I will now have two loans for hearing aids.
Wasn’t as short as I wanted, I apologize.
