I only have hearing loss in one ear. I got a Phonak Audeo Paradise hearing aid a few months ago and have had a lot of trouble getting it to actually stay in my ear. When it works it does a really good job for me and I'm able to hear wonderfully. But the thing is I have so much trouble getting it positioned correctly and even if I do get it positioned correctly it never really seems to stay for a long period of time. I'm absolutely sure the device itself is working fine. Since it's only in one ear I ended up just not using it for quite a while. But I went and got my ear cleaned yesterday and the doctor reminded me how important it is to keep my brain functioning instead of waiting too long and letting it slip away. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could be inserting the thing wrong or how to get it to stay in place better? It just seems like such a weird problem to be having to me.
