Morning everyone - have recently gone through having a very severe middle ear infection (due to me having crohn’s disease, my immune system was unable to fight the infection and had attacked the nerves in my ear) in both of my ears which has caused profound hearing loss in my right ear, and also moderate to severe hearing loss in my left. i have lost complete hearing in my right and have limited hearing in my left, i have been referred for a hearing aid in my right whilst they use steroids to try and help my left ear. I have also had quite bad tinnitus in both ears for around 2 months. i was just hoping for some clarity, maybe people with similar experiences, or what to expect as mentally it’s been really hard to cope with, thanks guys :)
