I didn’t think I’d be posting here again so soon but last night something strange happened. I was in the shower and decided to pee a little bit so i could clean the discharge from my BV. When I pissed I felt something similar to a blood clot passing during a period. Except it was less red and more light pink and fleshy. And it felt more firm. It wasn’t liquid like my usual discharge and it fell out in one chunk. I didn’t get a good look at it because the water swept it away and I wasn’t wearing my glasses.
After this happened I felt a dull pain in my vagina and my stomach started mildly cramping. When I got out of the shower I went to wipe and there was blood, but it was very light. Then the dull pain turned into an occasional sharp feeling that would occur for only a second and then stop for a couple of minutes. I tried to find answers on google and found absolutely nothing, so I just went to bed.
This morning I woke up and peed and when I went to wipe there was more blood than there was last night. It was still a light color rather than a period-red.
I have no idea what to make of this. I know its not a miscarriage because it would’ve been much more bloody. Plus I took a pregnancy test a few weeks ago and it was negative. The closest answer I found was a decidual cast. Could that be what it is?
Additional info that may be important: I have been on testosterone for 3 years. I take norethindrone. I have been struggling with constant UTIs, yeast infections, and (currently) BV for over a year.
Edit: I’m aware that pee comes out of the urethra. I mentioned in the comments that when I pee the pressure pushes discharge out of my vagina. That is why I worded it like that. I don’t think pee comes out of the vagina.
I used to get frequent UTIs and then my doctor put me on Hiprex about a year ago and I haven’t had another one since. Maybe ask your OBGYN about it or get a Uri-gyno specialist apt to see if this is a good fit for you!

Hi! As a dietitian, i can tell you that some cranberry juice is not helpful since the sugar levels can actually feed the bacteria. You can buy cranberry pills off Amazon and take one before bed each night. It’s a stronger concentration of the active ingredients and no sugar. Also maybe ask your OBGYN or Uri-gyno specialist to see if Hiprex is a good fit for you! It’s been a lifesaver for me :)
