I’m sick of people and articles saying “how I should enjoy being single”, I’m always single and alone

Trying this again, I think it’s still Friday in LA, idk I’m in Australia.

The reason I hate this is because it assumes you’re just feeling a bit lonely. Like you recently broke up with someone or you have people to hang with but you’re single.

Not chronically alone. People don’t seem to see the difference. If people hear alone, they always assume that there’s still some sort of support they have.

I go out alone, eat alone, watch movies alone. Not with friends or family. Alone.

Yesterday for example spent 3 hrs at a cafe before watching a movie. So it’s not like I’m staying at home alone.

Everyone I know is either with someone or busy, so I genuinely spend 90% of my time alone. And to top it off I have CPTSD and severe social anxiety.

It feels harder to get talking with anyone as they everyone is weary nowadays. I’ve been trying but most of my pleasantry’s have been received with 😐. Which just creates a cycle. (Hard to talk > I try > others aren’t willing to talk > hide > repeat)
