So long story short, I have been doing to a foreign dentist for some dental work, and despite him being blunt, i have felt at ease with him (as do I with people from this particular country). Now I plan to get an English speaking therapist from this region and just doing multiple sessions while I am there. I am not sure why, but sometimes when I deal with someone from the same background (European/American on general), sometimes my autism just seems weird to them, whereas I feel like I can communicate what I am trying to say to foreigners more easily (not all, but specific nationalities). The bang for the buck is helpful, but I also just feel less judged there in general.
