My Dad as an Archetype of God in the Garden.

Let me explain. Before my Dad died when I was 14, people seemed okayish. After he passed it seems like the knowledge of good and evil was opened on full parade. It seemed like because he was well spoken and seemed to not be an idiot I did not worry about the outside world, but after he died, I felt I needed to look at potential attacks from every angle. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
