Post Body

I quit my job on January and now starting a new job (exactly 3 months later). During this time, I didn’t have health insurance in the USA (I had traveler insurance for 1 month of travel, the rest of the time in the USA nothing)

Now I was filling out my taxes, and it asks about whether I had health insurance the whole time. I’m sure this question will come back next year.

Am I going to be liable for anything? I remember w Obamacare there was a “fine”. Is this still in effect? Is there anytning I can do to mitigate this?
