Post Body

I forgot to cancel my marketplace insurance when I got a new job in 2022 and elected to go through them for insurance, so it auto renewed for 2023. I received a 1095–A for 2023 and will now have to owe about 4500 dollars on my taxes for insurance I didn’t know I still had and never used. Is there anyway to get around this or am I doomed to pay the government back thousands of dollars?
