Post Body

My workplace where I'm part time now has an ACA compliant plan that meets MEC per ACA but doesn't cover as much [think hospitalization, unexpected emergency surgery etc]. I want to cover for catastrophic hospitalization, and I am ok with an astronomical deductible if that becomes the case. Can I take the cheap MEC plan from work and combine it with a non ACA compliant STLDI plan in case I need unexpected hospitalization or surgery?
