I am gobsmacked. Admittedly, I'm not too informed on the newest insurance happenings, but my insurance company put my medication on hold so that I would have to call them (a 30 minute exercise) and Opt Out of their "Maintenance Choice" policy. Basically they wanted me to use a mail-in service or CVS. And due to the confusion of why my prescription couldn't be filled, I had to pay out of pocket 3 days worth of medicine. This is, at best, a poor policy that does a disservice to patients. And at worst, me ranting for 5 hours about what an absolute shit show of a system this is. Is this something that can be reported?
