I've avoided talking to doctors for 9 months now even when I was convinced I was dying, but I think it would really help me mentally to rule out a few things I'm worried about. It's also important for me to do this before the vaccine becomes available to me, which it seems will happen by the end of this month.
The thing is this is a new doctor. Back in the summer, the old doctor completely dismissed me, told me to take some supplements and that she wouldn't give me tests or see me because of the quarantine (I did get a few test after a lot of begging). Now I worry the new one will see my medical history and tell me the same. She'll see that I kept reaching out to my old doctor, spoke to a psychiatrist, was prescribed antidepressants (which I didn't even take). She'll just assume I'm asking for the tests because of the anxiety, and my country is still under quarantine so maybe she'll says she can't give tests without a good reason.
I just keep putting this off.
