Headphones - IEM/Earbud

Please forgive me. I know I have comitted the main sin of questioning these headphones. I know nothing about headphones, but I know I like cheap headphones that don't have to arc over my ears.

These came up time and time again, so I was very interested. But I heard from a few sources bass isn't the main headline with these earphones and I fear I may be a classic V shape guy?

Any thoughts on this? What do you think is better?
