Any advice is welcome, thanks in advance!
Budget: $300. Might consider $400 if the features are actually worth it.
Source/Amp: Mostly bluetooth/wireless, I move around a lot so I can't be wired in or I'll be a hazard to myself. Might connect to PC if need be at times, USB-C or aux is fine.
Use of Gear: Home listening, will be used mostly for watching shows and listening to music at home. I have had an ANC pair but it made no difference for me so ANC isn't a deal breaker for me. I work from home sometimes too so it would be good if the headphones have good mic quality for online meetings.
Preferred tonal balance: I would love good base but do prefer a tonally balanced pair since my music tastes span a lot of genres.
Preferred music genres: EDM, movie/video game/instrumental soundtracks, rock, phonk
Past gear experience: I have some AO-M6 which have honestly been pretty amazing the last couple of years but they're wearing down and I'd like to get a new pair before these give out completely. I also have some TurtleBeach Stealth 700 Gen 2 for PlayStation and those are some of the best pairs I've ever had but I like to keep my work/game gear separate.
Current Choices: I'm looking into the Bose QuietComfort 45 (blue) ; Sony WH-1000XM4 (blue) ; Edifier W820NB ; Edifier W860NB ; Phiaton 900 Legacy ; Status Core ANC ; Srhythm NC35. I would like some tone of blue or brown/beige pairs but I'm fine with black headphones if the specs are worth it.
I've been looking for options on Amazon but even though some of the options I'm looking at look good the most recent reviews all seem so negative which is honestly throwing me off from buying anything specific.
