what headphones for poor recordings?

I currently have dt880 600ohm and t50rp. They are both great for details. I can no longer listen to jimi hendrix and just enjoy him. I hear all of the little imperfections and that gets me out of the music.
What headphones do yall recommend to be able to enjoy jimi hendrix again on headphones? ($1000 or less)
