So yesterday I contacted Amazon about refunding my DT 1990 Pro because I just couldn't get over the brightnesss it had, and the soundstage/imaging in my opinion just was not as vast or good as the Sundara previously were that I owned, so I contacted support about sending these back for a full refund. Well, to my surprise, Amazon was a total homie and gave me a full refund but also said I could just straight up keep the headphones. I pinched myself when they said this. So now, I'm in a position where I can sell off these old DT 1990 Pro, as well as take the new funds given to me by Amazon, and get a really solid pair of heapdhones with literally almost $1,200 as my budget. I would rather spend less, but what headphones would you guys recommend in the $600 range that prioritizes very good soundstage/imaging, and has a very nice, smooth, natural yet clear sound signature? I was looking into the focal elex, but not super sure yet. If the headphones would be a drastic improvement, i dont mind going higher as well. Feel free to drop any recommendations below <3 Thank you very much
