LCD-X with high-output impedance

Post Body

I have an ASUS STXII soundcard, which delivers a 10 ohms output impedance, vs the LCD-X with 20 Ohms and 103 dB/1mW.

I know that this setup is nowhere near ideal and that sound quality will probably suffer a bit, but it is only temporary as I'm waiting for my topping E50 L50 to be delivered.

My question is, can high output impedance actually physically damage my headphones or will it only affect sound performance ?
