I've had the AT ATH-AD900x for a couple years now and I absolutely love them. Unfortunately they were recently dropped and seemed to have started to crackle. In terms of replacement headphones I was looking at the HD 650s (discounted), bd 990 pro (I have no idea what the difference between the pro and premium is) and the m70x. I primarily game, and love the directional ability of my ath-ad900x, so I'm hoping to retain that, however I also want to be able to use them to listen to all kinds of music; in terms of bass I like a little but not too much. I have the WH1000XM4 and they'd be a little too bass heavy for this. I'm generally at my computer for a few hours so comfort is definitely important.
In terms of an AMP, I do not have one at the moment, although I'd be open to getting one in the sub 150 price range. Any advice would be appreciated.
