I am looking to go for an upgrade from my current headphones (NVX XPT-100), partially because the earcups detached from the headband (which is fixable), but mostly because I want to go a little deeper in Hi-Fi. For amp/dac I am looking at the Schiit Magni 3. Is this a decent pairing? I am very new to amps so advice and knowledge is welcome. Also, I want to use the amp/dac for the next pair or two I get so if there is an amp for slightly more that increases it’s life/usability I would be open to it.

I am looking for neutral, even response headphones due to listening to a big variety of genres, including a lot of classical. These would be used at home in my room so open back is fine. I am looking to spend ~$300 but would be open to $350. The only previous decent-ish headphones I’ve owned are the aforementioned NVX pair and some Vsonic IEMs.
