Hello, I'm looking for suggestions on which headphones (earbuds) to purchase. I'm mainly using them for work, but I'd also like some that do sound good for casual use as well. There are 2 major things I'm looking for, as well as 1 minor thing: ---1. They need to be wireless or true wireless. The cable running down my shirt bothers me a lot, and it also snags on things as I move around the kitchen. ---2. I need to have to ability to just use 1 earbud. Sometimes I can wear both, but most of the time I need to leave 1 of the buds out so I can hear other people. ---3. (Minor thing) I'd prefer the headphones to have a mic so I can take hands-free calls while I work so I don't have to stop what I'm doing, clean my hands, talk, clean my hands again, then back to work.
Budget: I'm hoping for something around $120, but am willing to pay $20-$40ish more.
Source: I'd be connecting them to my phone, a galaxy note 8.
Tonal Balance: No idea to be honest. I am using an old gear circle. Doesn't sound bad, but I don't know much about what I'm looking for here. Probably just balanced?
Music Genre: Alternative, pop, punk rock, classic rock, country, some rap. Basically a little of everything, but those above more than others.
Past Gear: Recent use has been stock note 8 earbuds (which are small, fairly comfortable, have a mic, and sound decent), an old pair of foldable travel bose (For home use as they're over-the-ear style. They sound much better than the others, but can't use just 1 side, and an old gear circle (sounds decent, has a mic, wireless so it doesn't snag and is more comfortable, but requires that uncomfortable and bulky plastic half-necklace).
What I'd Like To Improve: My biggest issues currently are: ---1. That I have to wear that uncomfortable plastic half-necklace with my gear circle earbuds or else they fall down and pull out of my ears as I move around a lot at work. It is painful to wear because it's hard, presses into my kneck, and is awkward and big on the back of my neck. It's led me to wanting true wireless earbuds, but I've heard mixed reviews and I slightly worry about their weight, so I have also been checking out regular wireless earbuds. I don't think a smaller wire connection would bother me if I go that route. ---2. They don't stay in my ears very well and slowly push out over time. I don't know if it's because they don't have fins, or if I just have weird shaped ear canals.
That was a lot more than I intended to write. But with that all being said, what would you suggest me to buy? Thanks for any suggestions!
