This will probably sound funny, or stupid to most but I was just in Walmart and tried on a pair of Rig 400hx and the fit/comfort was exactly what I am looking for. I currently have sundara closed backs and stealth 600 gaming headsets and trying these rigs on showed me that both my headphones and gaming headsets have way too big of ear cups.
I would love to find something thatβs similar in fit, with great sound quality and either anc/or noise cancellation. I recently got the sundara to dip my toes into wired for better sound quality but holy cow they are heavy, they flop around too much, and are a pain in the ass if not near impossible to easily put around my neck when not listening.
I enjoy listening to EDM and classical mostly and I want something that makes me cry when listening to music π the difference between sound quality from my AirPod pro 2 and even the sundaras made me tear up a little bit. I am super sensitive to sounds and honestly the world can be too overstimulating so I like to have headphones on to block everything out and listen to music that helps me navigate the world better.
I have been looking at the bathys and am going to a music store near me hopefully tomorrow to try then on as well as some px8, but I would 100% be ok with wired and a dac if the sound is much better.
The sundaras imo are freaking horrible with noise isolation, but if you have any tips to make the fit and isolation better Iβd love to try it as well. π
