I've had my Beats Studio 2 wireless headphones for over 8 years! Maybe even 10! Never had any issues with sound quality or battery life, until finally in the past few days it is refusing to charge. I heard the new Beats are worse in audio quality than my current ones, so I need some recommendations of other brands.
I'm looking for some new wireless headphones that are good for everyday use and just an overall upgrade, nothing crazy. I'm located in the US, can spend a few hundred dollars if it's worth it (ideally around $150-300, preferably not more than $350-400). I mainly use headphones to listen to Spotify and YouTube (primarily kpop, r&b, indie, so nothing super bass heavy) and sometimes do Discord/Zoom calls.
I don't need any super good audio quality (just as long as it's not worse than what I currently have w/ my Beats 2), just looking for everyday reliability and comfort and can last several years. Wireless feature and a mic are necessary, noise cancellation would be very nice though not necessary (if it reduces overall sound quality, then I don't need it), and please no on-ears (I wear glasses and pressure on my frames hurts my ears).
I currently have Xbox Wireless Headphones for gaming, and it's worse in sound quality and I don't like how heavy and trapping they feel compared to my Beats, so I would like to avoid that with any new headphones. I don't want to feel entirely closed off from my surroundings if I put on my headphones -- I want to be able to hear someone call my name, etc. (but having the option to noise cancel when I'm in a noisy environment is nice too). I also wear headphones for hours at a time, so I liked that my Beats were lighter.
Thank you!
