I've narrowed down my list of options a bit, and I am looking for a replacement for my Fidelio X2s that are falling apart. It seems like a good soundstage and imaging is what I'm looking for. my only real reference is the X2s, and I test-drove a pair of Sennheiser 598 Cs for a week and didn't like the sound or the fit. I'm more interested in immersive gaming, but I also want to be able to hear footsteps in competitive gaming. Budget around $200-250.
