Comfortable and good sounding headset for gaming/music

Hey everone,

I've wanted to try out a headset with a built-in mic, since using my big condenser every time I go on discord is a bit of a hassle. I don't want to spend a lot and I don't really want to use BT since i already have a decent DAC and amp. The only 2 headsets i could find that meet these creteria are from Audio Technica: the BPHS1 and the ATH-M50xSTS. The Beyerdynamic DT-290 also seem great, but they are a bit more pricey and you need to buy a 80€ cable on top. So my question is: which headset would you choose in my position? Have you used any of the headsets that I mentioned or maybe even multiple of them? I know the ATH-M50x's are super common and generally well liked, finding reviews of the BPHS1's is more difficult and they mostly focus on the quality of the mic, which isn't my main priority. More important to me is good sound and comfort over long periods of time.

Thanks for any input/help in my decision :)
