Could you help me decide what noise-cancelling earbuds to get?

Hi! I'm looking to get a new pair of earbuds. I'm pretty overwhelmed by the amount of options and I don't want to regret my purchase so I thought I'd ask here. My biggest priorities are:

  • Earbuds that can play music with active noise cancelling -- I am autistic and I have a lot of difficulty blocking out sound, so this is the most critical part for me!
  • Battery life will last at least 4-5 hours for the next couple of years (assuming I treat them well).
  • A relatively comfortable fit that won't fall out of my ear when exercising.

A note: I honestly do not mind that much about the quality of sound/fidelity! As long as they play music relatively clearly and I don't have to put the volume all the way up to hear the bass, it's alright with me.

Based on the above, I'm thinking of going with the Bose QuietComfort II earbuds. They're around the top of my price range (330 CAD, so about 240 USD), but I'm willing to spend that if they're worth it. I was going to go with the Cambridge Melomania Touch earbuds, since I love the Melomania 1 , but the battery life on my 1 headphones is dying after a few years of use, and I don't think the Melomania touch has active noise cancelling.

Does anyone have any other suggestions/any feedback on the Bose earbuds? Thanks!
