Alastor deal, a theory

So in the last episode he sang about his deal and said something about unclipped wings, and it made me think for a moment
In this theory he made a deal with Roo(t of evil)
Roo has his mother (wheather roo intercepted her soul in route of she yanked her from heaven it doesn't matter) , and the deal is that as long as Alastor does as she says, his mother will be safe, and asleep with Roo.
Is that too far out there? Do you have other ideas on his deal?
