I've seen some discussion going on around velvette's design Inspiration, obviously she started out heavily based on a doll, but I feel her final design is still very human and less doll like than her earlier concepts. Now there is a much bigger emphasis on her social media and clothing designer side, more of a trendy person. So we know that sinners looks are based on their sins and how they lived their life, the most obvious being Angel Dust's mob family being spiders and their "web of crime". So I think Velvette is still based on a doll, but much more for the pun. She is a brat. She's rambunctious, loud, hauty, and generally rude. Much like the stereotypical Social media influencer, who are also very trendy. What line of Dolls revolved around alot of trendy fashion? Bratz. My last point I'd much more subjective, but also looking at her final design I feel like I see zlot of similarities to her and Bratz dolls.
