This is official notification to all Lower Duck Pond residents that my home, the land upon which is it built, the front stairs, the section of sidewalk that run in front of my house, my parking space directly in front of my house, my driveway, the shed out back, and the section of Pulper's Creek that runs across my backyard is now known as The Kingdom of Wobtania.

I received all the necessary paperwork to declare myself a Micronation and I have registered with the United Nations. Ergo, I am its official Monarch, now to be known as His Royal Highandmightyness King Ed I.

This will not affect a huge amount of your daily lives, but there are some significant changes that have to be publicly declare. To wit:

1. Any foreigner must register at the Customs Office (previously known as my garage Beer Corner). A minor fee will be levied to cover the costs of issuing passports.
2. As a monarch, I have Diplomatic Immunity from any and all legal issues that have arisen in LDP.
3. As a monarch, I am ineligible to be taxed by any legal entities inside of LDP.
4. A State of Truce exists between Wobtania and LDP, but this state can change at any moment with no advance notice.
5. Anyone entering Wobtania for more than 30 minutes must pay a minor levy. Please bring $50 cash with you if you intend to stay more than half an hour.
6. Wobtania currently uses US Dollars as its official currency but we are looking into minting our own coins called Wobbies. More on this as it develops. Also we are accepting design entries for the coin back face.
7. The Wobtanian National Anthem is 'Pour Some Sugar On Me'. So you may hear that song on blast pretty much anytime of the day or night. We claim our right to do so as Monarch.
