Titans fall to the Jags in a crushing defeat with a final score of 40-14. Ryan Tannehill went 0-5 and two picks in the first quarter which later led to rookie QB, who was just part of a big trade for the franchise, being subbed in. Tyree Jackson being a menacing 6’7” 250 pounds led the offense down the field to set up a couple rushing touchdowns, one for himself while the other he left for Dion Lewis former Patriot running back and current star Titans running back. Lewis is usually used primarily for passing downs but got into a bit of a grove going 6 rushes for 33 yards and a touchdown. Tyree Jackson led the team in rushing as he ran for 54 yards in his Titans debut. The recently traded for James Washington who seemingly in practice and in today’s game has lots of chemistry with former teammate Tyree Jackson. Both were traded from the Steelers to the Titans for a 2nd round pick and Corey Davis. Washington had 3 catches for 75 yards. The defense didn’t have a great game and there’s one play that sums it all up. First play of the game the offense comes out in three tight end. The defense is very confused as the offense hands it off to the left. Fournett gets great blocking as he runs for a for a 52 yard run!!!! But on the other hand Jurrell Casey and Kevin Byard were great helps in the run game today both getting 3 TFL’s each. Adoree Jackson came up with an interception just before half and set up a field goal that was later botched by kicker Ryan Succop (no surprise there). Succop has become very well known in the NFL world and I like to call him “Ryan F**kup” excuse my language. He gets the nickname from misses so many kicks over his nfl career. He has missed 48 regular kicks in his career since 2009 he averages about 4.8 misses every year. He has only missed 10 PAT’s in his career averaging about 1 every year. Anyways enough about the kicker, next week the team will face Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons not too far away from home. In Atlanta’s first two games their offense has totaled 743 yards from scrimmage and 31 points per game. Their defense has a total of 10 interceptions 1 fumble and 8 sacks but have allowed 57 points in total. The Falcons have a 6 turnover differential so hopefully the Titans can get it done. It has just been announced in a press conference with the Titans head coach Mike Vrabel that Tyree Jackson will be getting the start against Atlanta and they will be working a lot in practice with him in a different playbook as this playbook didn’t fit their style. They are trying to get Tyree Jackson to be a superstar on this team and will try and give him starts to put him in the running for rookie of the year. Maybe his offensive line can protect him long enough for him to throw the ball next game.
