Found a PVR 2 HDMI "Game" recorder at Goodwill

Post Body

So I picked up a cheap HD PVR 2 Gaming edition at Goodwill SUPER CHEAP that was missing its power supply and component cable. It looks like it needs a 6V 1.6A power supply, and I found a 2A unit for it. I am actually able to make some decent quality captures from Paramount Plus (going to test the same method on Hulu and Netflix). I managed to get the original Star Trek S1E00 Captured from Paramount and it looks pretty decent except for one problem. In some scenes the video level seems to fluctuate like an AGC (Automatic Gain Control) circuit is dancing back and forth. Wondering if this is normal or maybe I have a power supply issue? I see no AGC on/off setting in software, but I do see proc amp controls.
