Although I don’t see it as much on the sub anymore, I truly don’t get why people hate on the new HM mixtapes as much as they do. I like the sampled stuff too, don’t get me wrong, RB3 is my fav HM tape of all time. But HOLY SHIT you’re straight TRIPPIN if you don’t think SF, Cutter Lane, and Gunsmith are hard as fuck. I can put any of those projects on shuffle, have any song play, and I’m not skipping it. Rituals, I Hail the Night, Longhorns, Gunsmith, Nothing, On Tha Mound, Husqrider, Coffin Town, Does… NO SKIPS. Haunted Mound is really just putting out consistently amazing music, three tapes so far this year, and are running laps around anybody in the actual underground rn.

I did not include Burning Barn in the conversation because nobody bitches about Burning Barn.
