I have noticed that every nen type seems to have two main forms: Hatsu applied to the users own aura and hatsu applied to an external object.\

We have examples of this in every classification except one:

Enhancers can enhance themselves: Gon, or external objects: see Bill

Emitters can emit pure aura: see razor. Emitters can also emmit their aura into other things: see lynch

Manipulators can manipulate their own aura: see Morel, aswell as control external objects and people: see most manipulators

Specialists are doing their own thing most of the time

Conjurers and conjure objects by applying their aura to itself: see kurapika, as well as apply their aura to other objects to transform those objects in some way: see hinrigh

Transmuters on the other hand apply hatsu to their own aura to change it's properties, but we haven't seen any transmuters apply their hatsu to an external object.

I can imagine what effect this would have: changing the properties or general shape of the object, but we haven't seen any examples of this kind of application in the manga- and I personally haven't seen any on here either.

So, my challenge for you guys today is to create a transmutation hatsu which is applied to an external object or person instead of just being applied to the users own aura.
