The user conjures a strange mass of multicoloured fuzzy fabric. The user claims that the fabric is capable of anything they need it to do. This is due to the its variety of unique properties: which stem from aspects of cloth and clay.
In its neutral state, the fabric is soft and squishy like a blanket. In this state, it is absorbent like a sponge. The fibres that cover the fabric are able to lock together like velcro (despite how soft they are) allowing the user to shape the fabric into a variety of forms- creating clothes, swings, tents, etc. The user may also tie the ends of the fabric to other things in order to create bridges or ropes to swing from. In this state, it is extremely flammable.
When pressure is applied to the fabric, it can be compressed and hardened. In this state, the fabric is no longer absorbent and is very strong. Due to it being waterproof in this state, the user can use it to create things like boats and umbrellas. This can be brought back to its neutral state by stretching the material out again. In this state, it is also fireproof.
The material is extremely elastic and can expand many times larger than itself. If expanded to its absolute limit the fabric will violently retract like a rubber band. If only stretch by a bit, the fabric will simply be lengthened- like stretching play-dough.
Also similarly to play-dough, fragments of the fabric can be pulled off and used separately.
If in its neutral state when exposed to water, the fabric will start growing larger the more water it consumes. When it is full of water it becomes very squishy and heavy like a sponge but will go back to normal after you ring it out.
When exposed to extremely high temperatures the fabric will liquify. The user often boils it in a pot to make soup, which apparently reduces the need for sleep by one hour for every cup consumed. However, it apparently tastes very bland- as if someone blended up a loaf of bread nd boiled it.
When exposed to freezing temperatures, the fabric will become hard and difficult to mould, but it will be quite tough as a result.
So basically, it ~hAS ThE pRopeRtIEs oF BOtH~ *fabric and play-dough*- if that makes any sense whatsoever.
I wanted to create a versatile conjuration ability that didn't rely so heavily on restrictions. I was basically trying to go for the same feel as Hisoka's bungee Gum- a simple and silly but useful ability. It is kind of similar to a transmutation ability, as the user can create quantities of a substance as opposed to a single particular object
It was inspired by the thneed from the Dr. Seuss book The Lorax. The character I made it for has a Willy Wonka type vibe to them.
