Adaptive Power Level?

Say if a Manipulator wanted to create an ability that allows them to adapt their Aura quantity and Aura Output to the level of their opponent using Self-Manipulation, (I.e similar to Shalnark’s autopilot but adjust based on their opponent) what conditions/limitations could they make to achieve a decent return considering Manipulators aren’t the best at enhancement? Could it work as a counteractive type?
