Nanday Conure is a 37 year old nen master who started as a raw natural talent, and after awakening her nen at 17, trained under the instruction of her ornathology professor (a rare bird hunter). At 35, Nanday became the director of the Padokia Continental Aviary and developed a hatsu in preparation for the position. Seeing that the Aviary provides sanctuary to many rare and expensive birds. The Padokia Continental Aviary also houses some species of bird that are extinct in the wild, with the only living specimens being in the PCA. Because of this, black market collectors have targeted the Aviary in search of fortune.

Conure's Veil 100% Emission 80% manipulation

Nanday uses emission to place a nen sigil in the main room of the Aviary. She then also puts a sigil on the outer surface of the aviary and one on herself as well. These sigils work like talk rubes at a playground. These sigils only need to be placed once. As Nanday cares for individual birds throughout the aviary she emits a little bit of aura into each bird. This emitted aura is coded with manipulation that says that every time the bird chirps, a tiny portion of the aura stored in the bird will get sent along with the sound waves to the sigil in the Aviary. Once the aura hits the first sigil, aura from Nanday is sent through the sigil on her, and then all the aura is emitted outwards from the sigil on the outside of the Aviary, creating a force field around the Aviary that lasts as long as the bird chirp. The force field ripples out from around the sigil very quickly. The strength of any single force field depends on the bond between Nanday and the individual bird.

In a more offensive application of this hatsu, Nanday has the option to transmute the edge of the ripple to a be a sharp edge, though this isn't especially powerful, as transmutation is far from her natural affinity of emission.

In the final application of the hatsu, Nanday can bypass the sigil on the outside of the aviary, and Emit these force fields directly from the sigil on her own body. The force fields still only activate when a bird chirps from inside the Aviary.
